Brief overview and mission

The Universal Access Development Fund (UADF) is a pivotal organization established by the government of Sierra Leone, entrusted with the noble mandate of ensuring equitable access to mobile and broadband internet services across the nation. Our core mission is to bridge the digital divide by extending connectivity to unserved and underserved rural communities, where traditional terrestrial infrastructure has hitherto been unavailable or inadequate.

Tokeh ICT Hub and Hotspot Center

The Tokeh ICT Hub and Internet Hotspot Center benefits approximately 3,000 residents of the Tokeh community. By providing reliable internet access and ICT resources, the center has become a catalyst for educational advancement, economic growth, and overall community development. 

Sogbaleh Rural Telephony Project

The Sogballeh RTP benefits approximately 4,000 residents of the Sogballeh community. By providing reliable telecommunication services, the project has significantly enhanced the quality of life, promoting educational growth, economic development, and overall community empowerment.  

Foegamandu Rural Telephony Project

The Yoyema RTP benefits approximately 4,500 residents of the Yoyema community. The provision of reliable telecommunication services has brought about significant positive changes, including improved educational outcomes, economic development, and enhanced community empowerment.
